Mobile game model for monitoring Malaysian food calories intake using image recognition

چکیده

Two important problems related to food consumption were reported in Malaysia: Malaysia was the sixth rank Asia for highest adult obesity rate; and United Nation that Malaysian consumed an average of 2,910 calories per day. An imbalanced diet high intake calorie-dense need attention reduce obesity. These affect national economies by lowering productivity, increasing disability, raising health care expenses, shortening life spans. Although, there are calorie tracking applications available, however, existing apps less engaging recognize due its not versatile databases. This can be solved using game technologies. Hence, this study will propose mobile model as a solution underlying problems. There 4 phases method: expert validation, initial model, verification, final model. The proposed parameters validated dietitians, nutritionists. verified experts. A low fidelity prototype developed based on assist verification process. finalized expert’s feedback. resolves limited recognition monitoring way.
